- To fulfill your order – processing payment, shipping, sending order confirmations and tracking updates, handling returns, refunds and complaints.
- To operate your account – if you create one.
- To respond to your inquiries – customer support.
- Marketing – sending our newsletter (only if you sign up; you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every e-mail), showing you relevant ads, reminding you about an abandoned cart, and measuring the effectiveness of our campaigns.
- Analytics and store improvement – understanding how visitors use the store.
- Legal compliance – accounting, tax and consumer protection obligations.
We keep your data only as long as necessary for these purposes: order data for the period required by tax and accounting law, account data until you delete your account, newsletter data until you unsubscribe.
4. WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the store:
- Shopify – our e-commerce platform (hosting, checkout);
- Payment providers – to process your payment;
- Fulfillment and shipping partners – to pack and deliver your order;
- Marketing and analytics providers (e.g. Meta, Google) – subject to your cookie choices;
- Accounting and IT providers – to the extent necessary to provide services to us.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Like most online stores, we use advertising and analytics cookies that may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some US state laws – you can opt out at any time (see Section 5 and our "Your Privacy Choices" page).
5. YOUR US STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to:
- Know / Access – request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you;
- Delete – request deletion of your personal information;
- Correct – request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" / targeted advertising – opt out of the use of your data for cross-context behavioral advertising;
- Non-discrimination – we will never deny you service, charge different prices or provide a different level of service because you exercised your privacy rights.
How to exercise these rights: e-mail us at support@coloursoffaith.com with the subject line "Privacy Request", or use our "Your Privacy Choices" page to opt out of targeted advertising. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out. We will verify your request (usually by confirming your e-mail address) and respond within 45 days; if we need more time, we will let you know. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Categories disclosed for California residents (last 12 months): we have collected the categories of personal information listed in Section 2 and disclosed them to the service providers listed in Section 4 for business purposes. We have not sold personal information for money. Data collected through advertising cookies may constitute "sharing" under the CCPA/CPRA; opting out stops this.
6. VISITORS FROM THE EU, UK AND EEA
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR. The legal bases are: performance of a contract (orders, account), your consent (newsletter, non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (direct marketing, analytics, handling correspondence) and compliance with legal obligations. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, to object to processing (including direct marketing), to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in Poland: Prezes UODO (www.uodo.gov.pl); in Ireland: the Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.ie). Where our providers process data outside the EEA (including in the United States), transfers are safeguarded by adequacy decisions (including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. COOKIES
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use:
- Strictly necessary cookies – required for the store to work (cart, checkout, security);
- Analytics cookies – to understand how visitors use the store;
- Marketing cookies – to show relevant ads and measure campaigns (Meta, Google).
You can manage your preferences at any time via the cookie settings link on our website or your browser settings. Visitors from the EU/EEA are asked for consent before non-essential cookies are set. US visitors can opt out of advertising cookies via "Your Privacy Choices" or the GPC signal.
8. DATA SECURITY
We use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections (SSL/TLS), access controls and regular software updates. Access to personal data is limited to people who need it to do their job. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced on the website or by e-mail.
